SRINAGAR; 25, Aug 2012: A lok adalat was held at Sadder Court Complex, Srinagar under the chairmanship of Mohammad Shafi Khan, Principal District and Session Judge, Srinagar today in which 572 cases were taken up for settlement out of which 197 cases were settled amicably.

An amount of Rs. 53550 was realised on account of fine and Rs. 8369000 was awarded in MACT cases with Rs. 2339604 remitted in Bank cases.
