SRINAGAR: 27,Aug 2012: Syed Ali Shah Geelani has criticised theTaliban ultras operating in Afghanistan andPakistan saying their bombing of civilians was not part of Islam. Geelani’s criticism of the Taliban, who are fighting against American-led NATO forces in Afghanistan and Pakistani army in the Pakistan’s tribal areas, has come as a surprise as Geelani is considered ideologically close to the world view propagated by the Islamist ultras.
