Indian Army Troopers attacked Railway Station Kathua
KATHUA; 11, Sep 2012: Indian Army trropers in uniform and with weapons led by a Colonel attacked railway police station in Kathua and injured six policemen on Monday night, sources told.
The troopers, numbering 35, belong to the 225 field regiment stationed at Janglote in the Kathua district.
The reason for the attack was apparently an argument between one of the trooper and a railway policeman, after the policemen stopped him from disconnecting a metal detector for charging his cell phone. The trooper was heading home on leave. He went back to the base and informed his colleagues and superiors, who then attacked the police station.
