JK school board employee suspended for working as DD producer
SRINAGAR; 26, Sep 2012: A woman employee of Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) has been suspended for allegedly violating the service rules by engaging as a private producer with Doordarshan. Academic Officer (English) Naila Neelofar was placed under suspension after a preliminary inquiry into allegations revealed that she had taken up work as a private producer in Doordarshan Kendra Srinagar in violation of the service rules, according to an order passed by the BOSE yesterday. BOSE chairman Sheikh Bashir said Neelofar had initially denied the allegations but admitted to taking up work as private producer before a two-member committee investigating the matter.
