Paramedical Students Clash with Police
SRINAGAR; 26, Sep 2012: Indian Police used batons to disperse hundreds of female paramedic students protesting recent exam results.

The students were demanding that their tests be rechecked after nearly 5,000 students out of 7,000 failed.
On Wednesday they protested outside the health department's office in Srinagar. Police said at least four students were injured as police used batons following a scuffle with the crowd.
A local journalist namely Asid Qadri working with Kashmir Tribune, covering the protest was beaten and detained by the police.
