HMT demands stern punishment for Gulzar Bhat
KN DESK: 28, May 2013: Urging the officers who investigate the case of ‘fake faith-healer’ of Khansahab to take the probe to its logical manner in a transparent manner, Chief Patron of Haqani Memorial Trust, Syed Hamidullah Haqani Monday said that people are so far satisfied with the probe in this regard. Syed Hamidullah was addressing a gathering at S.D. Complex Khanyar after the Head office of HMT was shifted there from Soibugh Budgam. He expressed concern over the way wardness of youth and said that Kashmir, which was once known for its holiness, are suffering at the hands of people like Gulzar. “We are going far away fromour religion and it is the main reason that people like Gulzar successfully exploit us,” he said and demanded stern action against the self-styled Darvesh. He further said that HMT will fulfill its responsibilities all the way and will play a major role in the society as it used to play in the past. (CNS)
