KN DESK: 28, May 2013; Police Tuesday produced Challan in the Court of Law against the 25 so-called supporters of fake Darvesh Gulzar Bhat. Police had arrested 25 supporters of fake darvesh including five females on 23rd of this month when they assaulted some of the police officials in Press Enclave Srinagar. Khoti Bagh Police had arrested them vide FIR number 35/ ­­2013 under section 147 (rioting), 336 (stone pelting), 341 (blocking traffic), 353 (assault on government official) and 337 (causing injuries). Police produced Challan in this regard in the court of Additional Session Judge Srinagar. All the accused were released on bail while the next hearing of this case has been fixed on 22 August. Some of the accused have been identified as Aabid Hussain Shiekh (Magam), Ashraf Sheikh (Makhama, Beerwah), Bilal Reshi (Tangmarag), Nisar Wani (Makhama, Beerwah), Mudasir Rather (Muran Pulwama), Feroz Dar (Shopian), Imtiyaz Lone (Makhama, Beerwah), Firdous Dar (Tangmarag), Ashraf Bhat (Gosu Pulwama) Tanvir Wani (Oungam Beerwah), Ajaz Malah (Pinjora Tangamarag), Sidiq Chechi (Tangmarag), Ghulam Mohammad Dar (Makhama, Beerwah), Ajaz Magray (Makhama, Beerwah) and Younis Dar from Kanihama.
