Three persons drowned in Jehlum

KN DESK; 18, May 2013: A nonlocal labourer and two children were drowned in Jehlum at two different places on Friday evening.

Two boys Sameer Ahmad sheikh son of Mohammad Ismail and Dawood Ahmad sheikh son of Mohammad Subhan residents of Sheer colony, Sopore drowned in river Jehlum, near Sheer colony, Sopore while bathing on Friday evening. Both the boys were six year of age. Sopore police and locals are on job to fish out the bodies.
       
Meanwhile, 22 years Surinder Lal son of Arvinder resident of Mukarian Husharpur, Punjab working with RMKY company as labour drowned in river Jehlum at Sangam, in the jurisdiction of Police station Bijbehara, Anantnag. Bijbehara Police on Job to fish out the body of drowned person.
