Anantnag; Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and Congress President, Sonia Gandhi inaugurated the dream Qazigund-Banihal train service on Wednesday. After flagging off the inaugural service from Banihal, the Prime Minister boarded it and travelled with school children up to Qazigund and returned in the same train. UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah also travelled in the inaugural train. Earlier, hundreds of school children cheered in enthusiasm as they started traveling with the dignitaries from New Delhi and Jammu & Kashmir. The Qazigund-Banihal train has to pass through the second largest tunnel.
