Two Injured in Rival Group Clash in Kishtwar
KISHTWAR; 29, July 2013: Two youths were injured after some groups allegedly clashed in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.
The incident occurred last night when a group beat up a youth of another group over some issue relating to religious function, they said.
The other group then beat up a youth of the first group and damaged his motorcycle, which led to tension in the area, they said.
However, police said, "The situation is normal and peaceful. There is no untoward incident as issue was resolved."
The two youths suffered minor injuries, they said, adding that two FIRs were registered as per versions of the two sides and the matter was being probed.
