KN DESK; 25, Aug 2013: Two civilians including a woman were reportedly killed in unprovoked firing by Indian troops in Nakyal sector near Line of Control (LoC) in Azad Kashmir.

Quoting Deputy Commissioner Kotli Masoodur Rehman,  Radio Pakistan reported that the Indian troops resorted to "unprovoked shelling late last night which is still continuing"

"The Indian troops have directly targeted civilian populations on the Line of Control" Rehman said adding " so far two civilian people have been killed and 18 injured since the violation of the cease fire by the Indian troops".

Defence authorities in Srinagar could not be reached immediately to confirm the incident.
