Demonstrations in Kashmir in Solidarity with Egypt
SRINAGAR; 23, Aug 2013: Absentia funeral prayers were offered today in various parts of the Occupied Kashmir for the martyrs of the Egypt. Earlier, the chairman of Hurriyat (G) Syed Ali Shah Geelani, urged people to offer funeral prayers today after Friday prayers.
Meanwhile a demonstration was held in the campus of University of Kashmir, in which number of students took part. Chanting pro-islamic, anti-american, anti-israel and anti-indian slogans, students said that "It is the war on Islam and Muslims by these countries." adding, "Muslim Ummah is One, if Egypt is bleeding, we are feeling and if Kashmir is bleeding they are feeling the pain."
Students also carried placard written with, "DR MORSI, WE ARE WITH YOU"
The students also expressed their solidarity with the the families of the victims of Syria Gouta Chemical attack.
