SRINAGAR; 21, Aug 2013: The market checking squad headed by Assistant Director, CA&PD conducted market checking at Dalgate, Buchwara, Donikhud, Gagribal, Noor Bagh etc. of Srinagar city here today.
During the market checking, 51 business establishments were inspected and an amount of Rs. 9,700/- has been recovered as fine from 10 erring shopkeepers. Besides, one mutton retailer also booked in Police Station at Noor Bagh area for violation of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955.
