School Buses attacked for Participating in August 15 Functions
SHOPIAN/BARAMULLA: 15, Aug 2013: Two school buses were attacked today for participating in India's Independence day functions.
According to reports, A school bus of National Innovative Public School (NIPS) was attacked in Shopian district, when it was returning back after participating in August 15th Function at Shopian.In an another report, Three school children are among four people injured after angry youth threw stones at a bus ferrying students who took part in an Independence Day function in north Kashmir's Baramulla District.
Students of Government Middle School, Uri were going home after participating in a government funtion at Police lines in the town when they were attacked with stones.
The Deputy Inspector General of Police North Kashmir, J.P.Singh told a local news agency CNS that three children besides the bus driver were injured in the incident at Khanpora bridge.
