According to details, a passenger vehicle bearing registration number JK011A 0585 was on his way to Shopian from Rajouri in which six passengers were travelling.

A Police spokesperson told GNS that a passenger vehicle fell into river at Zaznar when driver Shakeel Ahmed son of Barkat Hussain lost his control over the vehicle and fell into the river.

The victims who died on spot were identified as Sher Ali son of Muhammad Ali, Muhammad Junaid, son of Wazir Hussain, Muhammad Azhar-ud-din, son of Muhammad Ashraf and a fourth one was unidentified who were residents of Thana Mandi, Rajouri.

Two persons who were injured in the incident were admitted in Sub-district hospital Shopian and were identified as Rameez Ahmed son of Muhammad Yousuf resident of Shopian and driver Shakeel Ahmed son of Barkat Hussain resident of Thana Mandi, Rajouri. (GNS)
