Deceased Conductor Buried Amid Protests
SRINAGAR; 27, Sep 2013: A large number of people participated in the funeral of a truck cleaner who was killed on Thursday after rebels attacked Police station Hiranagar in Kathua district of Jammu region.
The dead body of Reyaz Ahmad Ahanger S/O Bashir Ahmad Ahanger (28) reached to his home in Khunmoh Srinagar early this morning. Ahanger was laid to rest amid pro-freedom slogans.
While as the driver of the truck driver Muhammad Altaf from Srinagar was taken into Police custody yesterday evening.
As per police reports, Rebels forcibly used this truck to escape from Hiranagar area after they stormed Police Station.
