SRINAGAR; 03, Oct 2013: A body of 22-year-old youth was recovered late Thursday evening by Police from River Jhelum near Maloora in outskirts of Srinagar City. The youth had reportedly gone missing on September 29 last month.

Shaheen Ahmad Dar (22), Son of Khazir Muhammad is a resident of Chewaa, Beerwah, Budgam but presently living with his in-laws at Qamarwari, Srinagar, a Police official said.

He said the deceased’s body was recovered from River Jhelum and was handed over to his relatives for last rites.

Meanwhile, Police has registered a case under section 174 CrPc and has started further investigation in this regard. (GNS)
