SRINAGAR; 02, Oct 2013: A KAS officer, Ajesh Kumar resident of Kishtwar who was posted as Registrar Co-operatives slipped and fell from the upper storey of Hotel Heemal at Dalgate, Srinagar where he was staying. He was seriously injured in the fall and was shifted to SKIMS, Srinagar where he succumbed to his injuries.

Srinagar Police has initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC in this regard.
