SRINAGAR; The veteran hurriyat leader and Chairman of Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Shah Geelani Saturday in a statement, said that during Congress rule, Muslim community in India and people of Kashmir in particular were worst sufferers and thousands of Muslim youth are languishing in different jails against the fictitious cases.

Octagenarian leader, while reacting to the statement of Home minister of India, Sushil Kumar Shinde, wherein he has said that it is unbearable to implicate Muslim youth against the fabricated charges. It is mere election stunt, said Syed Ali Geelani and added that despite this statement the youth in Kashmir are subjected to worst type of suppression for being a part of the freedom movement, while Muslim community in India is being made target under the guise of so-called Indian Mujahedeen.

Geelani said that it is Sushil Kumar who blames the Indian Mujahedeen if and when any untoward incident surfaces in any part of India. Syed Geelani blamed RSS, Shiv sena and Bajrangdal for their animosity against Muslim Community and added that Congress under the cover of so-called secularism, promotes the agenda of these communal parties and the sole agenda of all these parties is killing ,destruction and humiliation of Kashmiri people and Muslim community in India.

Geelani said that keeping in view the forthcoming election, Sushil Kumar Shinde raises the issue of fake cases against Muslim population and this is all mockery and only to lure Muslim Community, however they ignored all norms when Mohammad Afzal Guroo was executed mercilessly to satisfy the so-called 'conscience of the people of India'.

While referring to the Mecca Masjid blasts, Malegaon, Samjhauta Express and Raghunath temple accidents, Geelani said that these elements blamed Muslim youth in India for these, however never apologized for their misleading statements and their allegations against Muslim community after the investigations revealed the facts about these incidents.

Syed Ali Geelani said that during the rule of Congress, the Muslim community faced the worst ever situation. We feel that Shinde and Modi do have no difference but both are sworn enemies of Muslim community, adding, that India with its might has occupied the territory of Jammu and Kashmir and people will never accept its sovereignty and will peruse their struggle. However the Muslims people living in India need to ponder that they are being befouled on such events and no political party in India share their sympathy with them .

while concluding, Geelani said that Muslims in India need to establish their unique identity and it is the only option left for them and instead of relying on Congress, RSS, BJP or other parties, they should prove their credence and existence.
