Curfew Relaxed in Bandipora for Three Hours
BANDIPORA; Authorities in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district today announced a three-hour relaxation in curfew, three days after it was imposed following the killing of a youth in police firing.
"There is a three-hour relaxation in curfew from 9:45 am to 12:45 pm today," a police spokesman told PTI.
He said the relaxation has been announced to facilitate people to purchase essential commodities.
Curfew was imposed in parts of Bandipora on Saturday after the death of an 18-year-old youth Farhat Ahmad Dar in alleged police firing at Sumbal after the Friday prayers. (PTI)
