Geelani Appeals Pak Govt to Accommodate Kashmiri Students

SRINAGAR; While expressing his anguish and concern over the incident of attack on Kashmiri students in Meewar University Rajistan, chairman All Parties Hurriyat Conference Syed Ali Geelani appealed the Pakistan government and other SARC countries to accommodate Kashmiri students in their educational institutions on humanitarian basis and help us in saving their career and lives.

He said that India is not safe for Kashmiries, who are looked at with suspicious eyes and their lives and honour are in danger there.

In a press release from New-Delhi, the ailing leader said that a lunacy type of communalism is spreading in India due to which the impatiens and terror ideologies have begun to grow. The claims of big democracy and secularism by India are proving to be hollow slogans with respect to the human and moral values.

Octagenarian leader said that besides many students from India who are undergoing many courses in educational institutions of Kashmir, there are lakh of Indian labrours who come to Kashmir for work, but despite the difference in religion and ideology, Kashmiries treat them as their brothers here and have never given them any chance of complaint.

While criticizing the state administration, the veteran leader said that though they are making huge claims with regarding to the safety of Kashmiries in India, but they fail to implement these claims. Omer Abdullah only prefers to have a single tweet on these situations and forget to take action.

While welcoming the Pakistan government's offer with respect to the admissions of Kashmiri students, Geelani said that we expect that Pakistan government will seriously implement these offers.

While expressing his pleasure and happiness on the occasion of 'Youm-e-Qrardad-e-Pakistan' (Pakistan Resolution Day) 23rd March, Geelani prayed for the stability and safety of Pakistan.

 He said that the Pakistan occupies a very important place in the Islamic world and it is the centre of passion and desire of every Muslim.

In a message on this occasion, Geelani Sahab said that though Pakistan have some internal issues but until its ideology is protected for which this country was created, no power in the world can harm its geographical boundaries.
