BARAMULLA: A lady (name withheld) tried to commit suicide through self-immolation at her residence Maharajpora Sopore on Wednesday.

According to police statement, "She sprinkled kerosene oil upon her body and set ablaze herself at her residence."

The lady was shifted to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar with burn injuries. Meanwhile, Police has registered a case in this regard.
