SRINAGAR; Police Tuesday evening lifted the restrictions on Pro-Azadi leaders including Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and others. The resistance leaders were detained under 'preventive' custody in view of the killing of a teenage boy, Farhat Dar in Naidkhai Bandipora on Friday.

According to sources, Police released senior resistance leaders including JKLF Chairman Yasin Malik and Hurriyat (M) senior leader Eng Hilal Ahmad War from Kothi Bagh Police Station after five days of detention.

Meanwhile restrictions were also lifted from various Hurriyat (G) leaders.
