Kashmir in Grip of Cold Wave; MeT Forecasts Rain and Snow
SRINAGAR; According to Met office, the hills of Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh may again receive snowfall and rain at a few places during the next two days, under the influence of a fresh Western Disturbance. Meanwhile, cold conditions have again intensified in Kashmir with day temperature plummeting several notches Monday.
The Western Disturbance currently lies over north Pakistan and adjoining areas of Jammu & Kashmir. It is expected to affect the Western Himalayan region and bring light snowfall in all the three Himalayan states of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand during the next 48 hours, Met officials said.
