SRINAGAR; Most of the private and government-run primary schools reopened in Kashmir on Wednesday after nearly three-month long winter vacations.

Primary students resumed their classes while the high and higher secondary schools already reopened on 1st March.

A few schools has extended winter vaccations upto 10th of March, in view of the fresh rains that lash valley on Monday and Tuesday.

Earlier parents demanded extension in winter vacation, however no attention was paid towards it by the concerned authorities.
