PULWAMA; Chairman of Hurriyat Conference Jammu and Kashmir (HCJK) Shabir Ahmad Shah along with three others were taken into 'preventive' custody while they were on their way to Tral in south Kashmir of Pulwama, official sources said here today.

They said four Hurriyat leaders including Shah were on their way to address a public gathering at Tral in south Kashmir district of Pulwama. However, police swung into action and took them into custody at Pampore.

Shah and three other leaders were later put in a police vehicle and taken to Pampore police station, they said.
