Seerat Conference quiz programme held at Pattan
BARAMULLA; 13, Aug 2012: A tehsil level written Seerat Conference quiz programme on the glorious life of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) held in Jamia Masjid, Pattan today.
In all, 75 candidates in different age group hailing from various parts of Pattan tehsil participated in the quiz. Vaseem Ahmad Wani of Wousan, Nisar Ahmad Khan of Buran and Zahid Qayoom Bhat of Pattan bagged Ist, 2nd and 3rd position respectively and were awarded cash prize of Rs. 5,000/-, Rs. 3,000/- and Rs. 2,000/- besides merit certificates.
The Jammu and Kashmir Yateem Foundation also awarded Rs. 1,000/- to first position holder.
A large number of people besides Mufti Abdul Rehman Bhat and Imam of Jamia Masjad Pattan and Management Committee attended the prize distribution function on the occasion.
