SRINAGAR; 21, April 2013: The executive committee of the Bar Association has decided to release the book written by Dr. Qasim on April 23 at 3 pm in Sadder Court Srinagar. The book will also be released simultaneously in Delhi on the same day.

The book titled as 'Dr. Muhammad Qasim the Victim of Political Vendetta' written by Dr. Qasim in the jail is about his twenty years of imprisonment. In this book, he has highlighted his trial in the Tada Court at Jammu and the appeal decided by the Supreme Court whereby he was given life imprisonment.
Besides this, he has highlighted the recommendation of the review board for his release and various decisions given by the High Court of J&K.

Dr. Qasim has desired that this book may be released in presence of prominent writers and journalists namely Dr. Sheikh Showkat Hussain, Dr. Javid Iqbal, Dr. Noor Ahmad Baba, Ghulam Hassan Zaingeeri and Z. G. Mohammad.

The Bar Association has separately invited these respectable persons to attend the function and grace the occasion and they will be the guest of honours.
