SHOPIAN: 31, Aug 2012: Another story came in the incident of killing a 20 year old girl namely Tawheeda Jan of Ayeind Shopian.
Earlier it was said that the girl has been killed by her fiancee Iehtmad Hussain as he (Iehtmad) was having affairs with some other girl of Islamabad District.
Police arrested Iehtmad Hussain on the 3rd day of missing report of Tawheeda. And Later Police reports said that Iehtmad disclosed that he pushed the girl in Ahribal waterfall when the couple was taking photographs.
On the 10th day of her missing, some people alleged that Iehtmad has sold the girl to an Indian army major.
However on the 11th day a dead-body was fished out from the Ahribal with the body severely defaced and was said of the deceased girl. It was identified by her clothes.
As soon as the news about the incident spread protests erupted in the native village of girl, Protesters set fire to the house of the accused Iehtmad hussain, who is also the resident of the same village and the son of the sarpanch of that village. Protesters also cut down the orchard of the accused. However Iehtmad's family fled away from their house before 2 days when their house was ablazed.
On the 2nd day when the body was handed over to her family, another story erupted and according to this the dead body which was handed over to her family was not of Tawheeda Jan.
The video of the real dead-body has been uploaded below, on which you can see that the dead-body is not of 11 days old but just of a day or two days. Some persons alleged that as soon as it was said that She has been sold to an Indian Army Major, they killed her and threw the dead body in the Ahribal Waterfall. However no-one knows whose dead-body was given to her family and where was her body taken.
